The Right Gear for 2,650+ Miles.

From the shoes on your feet to the pack on your back, the right gear makes a world of difference. When buying gear, especially for a trip of this length and magnitude, it is almost always worth it to pay a little bit more to get a little bit lighter.

 

One very important thing to keep in mind while reading our recommendations (or any others), is that while we've done hundreds of hours of research on all of it, what works for us may not work for you! It's important to do as much up-front research as possible, but nothing beats taking those new shoes out on the trail to test for blisters. But that's why we're all doing it right? So let's get outside and get dirty.
