Our Vision

When you visit this site we want you to feel like you are visiting a project brought to life by close friend or member of your family.  That’s because that’s who we originally designed this entire thing for – our close friends and family. As such, we want to create a clean experience that is free from the clutter and pressure of advertising banners and tiles. We want you to be able to focus entirely on the content that we're sharing, and not feel like you’re being monetized in a million different ways. That being said, we also want you to understand how we do try to make enough money to cover the cost of operating the site and updating it with fresh and valuable content.

What We Will Do

We do use affiliate linking in several of the gear and service review articles. When you click on an affiliate link you will be redirected to a site where you can purchase that item or sign up for that service. If you do so, we receive a small percentage of that purchase, at no additional cost to you. Having these links and a place to donate to our efforts are the only ways we ask for your support.

What We Won’t Do

We will never review gear or services because a company pays to have them on the website. We will never use an affiliate link unless it’s something that WE HAVE ACTUALLY USED. We will never interrupt your experience here with pop-up ads, ad strips, or ad tiles.
